Congratulations to our Varsity Guard! They had their first competition at Braden River High School last Saturday. We were very proud of their performance. The team scored a 64.45. Varsity Guard will compete again this Saturday at Lakewood Ranch High School. Our Dance Team will also compete in the Bravo Dance Competition at Lehigh Senior High School on Sunday. Good luck to both teams!
This Wednesday is our Mid-Year Band Concert. This concert will feature our concert bands, jazz bands, select solo and ensemble groups, and concert bands from Immokalee Middle School, Cypress Palm Middle School, and Corkscrew Middle School. The concert will start at 5:30pm in the auditorium. There is no admission charge. We hope to see you there! Mid-Year Band Concert (Wed. 2/28): Our Mid-Year Band Concert is coming up on Wednesday, February 28th. This concert will start at 5:30pm in the auditorium. We will feature both jazz bands, all 3 concert bands, a few select small ensemble groups, and the concert bands from Immokalee Middle School, Corkscrew Middle School, and Cypress Palm Middle School. There is no admission charge. Please save the date, we hope to see you there! FFCC Color Guard Competition at Lakewood Ranch HS (Sat. 3/2): Our Varsity Guard will have their final competition on Saturday, March 2nd at Lakewood Ranch High School. Call time is 2:00pm. Students will need to eat lunch before they arrive, and they will need to bring money to buy their dinner at the event. All students will travel to and from Lakewood Ranch High School via school bus. Alternate Travel Forms are due by 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 28th. The approximate return to PRHS is 9:30-10:00pm. More details were sent via email. District Concert Band MPA (Thurs. 3/7 and Fri. 3/8): Our District Concert Band MPA is at Gulf Coast High School. Symphonic Winds and Wind Ensemble will perform on Thursday, March 7th and Wind Symphony will perform on Friday, March 8th. Call times are posted on the calendar.
