Happy Halloween! We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! Don’t forget that our Trunk or Treat is this Tuesday from 8:15-9:00pm in the Faculty Parking Lot. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to the Marching Pride on earning Straight Superior ratings at District Marching MPA! We’re so proud of our students, they’re really improving every week! This week is your last opportunity to see their show Pure Imagination. We have our last away game at Golden Gate High School on Friday and our last competition at Lakewood Ranch on Saturday.

Thank you so much to all of our parent volunteers who helped work during Friday’s Senior Night Game and Saturday’s MPA. Both events ran smoothly and we are so fortunate to have so many hard working parents who are willing to support our program with their time!

Congratulations to all of our Marching Pride Seniors! We were proud to recognize all of you at last Friday’s game. Thank you for all of effort and dedication to the program!

Marching Band Rehearsals (Tues. 11/2 and Thurs. 11/4): Students may choose to wear a costume to Tuesday’s rehearsal since afterwards they have Trunk or Treat. Costumes must follow the school dress code and cannot impede the students’ ability to march, play their instrument, and/or perform. This year we’re asking all participating parents to only hand out peanut free candy. We know that this might be a small inconvenience, but it’s very important for the safety of our students. Thank you for your understanding and compliance. If you would like more information on this event, please contact our Band Booster President, Mr. Anthony Rowtie at [email protected].

Music in Motion Competition (Sat. 11/6): The Marching Pride will have their final competition of the year at Lakewood Ranch High School and all students are expected and required to attend. Call time will be 3:00pm. Approximate return to PRHS will be 11:45pm. The uniform for auxiliary will be Pure Imagination show uniform, tights, tan dance shoes, earrings and full hair and make-up. The uniform for band will be this year’s black Pure Imagination band t-shirt, this year’s green marching band shorts, tall black socks, and marching band shoes with full uniform. The competition starts at 6:00pm and the Marching Pride will perform at 8:45pm. Admission is $20 for adults and $15 for students—students in the Marching Pride and parent volunteers will not have to pay admission. The approximate return time to PRHS on Saturday evening is 11:45pm. Students will need to bring money to eat at concessions. More details will be sent out in a separate email.

Alternate Travel Requests: If you require alternate travel for your student for this week, the form is due to Mrs. Robinson by Wednesday, November 3rd so that the form can be approved by Dr. Walcott.
