The Marching Pride and both Jazz Bands all had great performances at Ave Maria! Thank you to all of our parents who came out to support the students and work as chaperones and truck crew!
Thank you also to everyone who came out to support our Culver’s Spirit Night! We enjoyed having the Drumline and both Jazz Bands perform at that event as well!

This Week’s Schedule:
Disney Band Trip Forms (Past Due): Please be sure to turn in all of your required forms if you have not already done so. Students will not be allowed on the trip if any of their required forms are missing. Please do not wait until the last minute!
WinterFest Dress Rehearsals (Mon. 12/9 & Wed. 12/11): All students in band and auxiliary are required to be at both rehearsals from 2:15-5:30pm. Monday’s dress rehearsal will start with everyone in the auditorium to go over the finale portion of the concert. Band students do not need to dress in their concert attire for these dress rehearsals. Auxiliary students do have to dress in their performance attire for these dress rehearsals. Students will not be rehearsing during the entire time, so they are encouraged to bring homework or something else that will keep them preoccupied and out of trouble during their downtime.
Naples Christmas Parade (Tues. 12/10): Call time is 3:00pm. We will leave as soon as the buses arrive to pick us up. Band students will wear this year’s black band t-shirt, marching shorts, black socks, marching shoes, and full marching band uniform. Auxiliary students will wear their pregame uniform, tights, earrings, and auxiliary warm-up jackets. The parade will start at 6:00pm on Broad Ave. and Third Street South and travels down 5th Ave. South to 8th Street South. The approximate return to PRHS for the Marching Pride is 9:30pm.
Healthy Snack for Naples Christmas Parade (Tues. 12/10): Healthy snack will be distributed in the band room at 2:30pm to students who pre-ordered their meal. Students who did not pre-order a healthy snack meal need to bring a packed dinner to eat on the bus. We are not scheduled to return to PRHS until around 9:30pm.
WinterFest Performances (Thurs. 12/12 & Fri. 12/13): Call time is 5:30pm. Band students will wear their concert attire uniform. Band students may choose to add “Holiday Cheer” to their attire: i.e. holiday socks, hats, jewelry, jackets, etc. Auxiliary students will wear their group performance attire.
General WinterFest Information: The concert on Thursday is the same as Friday. We have two concerts because this is one of our most popular events of the year and it involves the entire PRSH Music Department: band, orchestra, auxiliary, and choir. Tickets are $5.00 and seating is general admission—seats are first come first served. Tickets can be purchased at the door starting at 5:45pm on Thursday and Friday, or they can be purchased ahead of time through Mrs. Robinson or Mr. Bigler before school, during lunch, or after the after-school rehearsals on Monday through Wednesday. Doors will open at 5:45pm and the concert will begin at 6:30pm. We hope to see you there!
Disney Band Trip Information: Our trip is this Saturday! Band students will turn in their marching band shoes, socks, gloves, and Santa hat in a plastic bag this Wednesday. Please do not forget! Mrs. Newton will be attaching these bags to the uniform rack. Auxiliary students will turn in their pre-game uniform, tights, earrings, auxiliary jacket, and antlers in their duffle bag this Thursday. All bags will be inspected. Please remove any items that are not needed for the trip. More information will be sent in a separate email.
Concert Band Attire: All band students are reminded that they will need their Concert Band Uniforms ready by Winterfest. Please order your uniforms now so that you have time to alter them when they come in. Band Picture Orders: Please note that all orders for band pictures go directly to the photographer. Mrs. Robinson is not collecting band picture orders or payments. Varsity Guard Schedule Changes: All Varsity Guard students and parents are reminded to check the band calendar for their upcoming camps dates and times. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and understanding!
