We’d like to wish all of the students who are participating in the PRHS Talent Show this week!
This is what we have coming up this week.
This Week’s Schedule:
District Jazz Band MPA (Mon. 2/3): PRHS is hosting the District 18 Jazz MPA on Monday, February 3rd. Student and parent volunteers will be needed to run the event from 2:00-9:30pm. Jazz 2 will perform at 4:30pm and Jazz 1 will perform at 8:30pm. The event will be held in the auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.
District Band Solo & Ensemble MPA (Fri. 2/7 and Sat. 2/8): All students who have signed up for a solo or ensemble are reminded to continue to prepare their music. Performance times will be posted in the band room. Students who drop out of their event will be charged $10. District Solo & Ensemble will be hosted at Lehigh Senior High School. All band students are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from Lehigh Senior High School.
District Auxiliary MPA (Sat. 2/8): Auxiliary will travel to Fort Myers High School for their District MPA. Call time is 9:30am. All students will travel via school bus to and from the event. Alternate travel forms are due by next week Wednesday. Performances will start at Fort Myers at 11:45am in the auditorium. The event is open to the public for those who wish to support our team.
Auxiliary Solos: All auxiliary students are reminded that they are all required to prepare a solo for the week of MPA. Their next performance exam will take place this Thursday. All students will be required to perform their entire solo at a minimum of 1:45. All auxiliary groups will perform their routines in class on Friday in uniform.
Concert Attire (Past Due): All band students are reminded that they must have their required concert attire for the upcoming MPAs: Jazz MPA and Concert MPA. Indoor Auxiliary Fees (Past Due): Please turn in your payments at your earliest convenience. Indoor uniforms will be issued until fees are paid in full.
Marching Band Fees (Past Due): Families who are on a payment plan are reminded to continue their monthly payments until their marching band fees are paid in full.
