Welcome back! We hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving! These next three weeks will fly by as they are packed with holiday festivities. Before you know it, winter break will be here!
First of all, we’d like to thank our local Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department for sending off the Marching Pride when they left for State on November 19th. We were all so surprised to see our parents, family, and friends sending us off, it was such a great moment for our students, and we are all so thankful for all the support! The Marching Pride had two amazing performances at State Prelims and Finals. We were so proud when they placed 3rd in Class 5A at STATE! The Marching Pride had an amazing season this year. Thank you to our students for all their hard work and dedication. Thank you especially to our seniors and student officers for all their leadership and perseverance. We want to thank all our band staff and parent volunteers who have helped throughout marching band season. The success of our students is attributed to their hard work and dedication, along with the support they receive from their parents, our school administration, our Band Boosters, and band staff. Thank you, Band Booster Board, Anthony Rowtie, Eileen Fuentes, Miguel Font, Kristian Newton, Dana Rowtie, Bill Strom, Sandra Llorca, and Erika Guerra for their leadership with our Band Boosters and parent volunteers. Thank you, Band Staff, Anthony Claro, Annamarie Magdaleno, Lee Dang, Melissa Sieja, Alina Brito, Carlos Martinez, Shelby Blocker, Eric Perez, Mario Mistretta, and Paige Brokopp for your expertise, creativity, and dedication to our students. Thank you everyone for supporting our students and the Marching Pride! This week we are starting our after school concert band rehearsals. We also have All-County Honor Band Auditions on Tuesday, Cookie Dough Order Pick-up on Wednesday, a Virtual Learning Day for the students on Thursday, and our Ave Maria Hometown Christmas Parade on Friday. Here's what you need to know for our upcoming events. This Week’s Schedule: Monday (11/28)
