Congratulations to the Marching Pride on winning Class 5A and Grand Champion at the Lakewood Ranch Music in Motion Competition. The band won all captions in Class 5A in addition to best overall music, GE, and percussion. The band scored an 81.5, which is the highest they’ve ever scored in competition in the past 8 years! Our Pure Imagination season has finally come to an end, but it’s definitely one that we will never forget. We are so proud of all that our students accomplished this season and look forward to what they have in store for the rest of the school year!

The successes of our program are attributed to the efforts of our students, parents, staff, and school administration. If you volunteered to help with concessions, truck crew, or chaperoning, thank you so much for your hard work and time that you gave to our students and program. We’d like to thank our band staff: Anthony Claro, Annamarie Magdaleno, Melissa De La Vega, Shelby Blocker, Lee Dang, Cheyenne Cure, and Mario Mistretta for all their efforts and instruction. A very big thank you to our Band Booster Board: Anthony Rowtie, Caridad Rojas, Eileen Fuentes, Miguel Font, Dana Rowtie, Erika Guerra, Kristian Newton, and Brandon Laboa for all of your help in coordinating parent volunteers and all logistics with transporting the Marching Pride to all of their events. Last but not least, we’re especially thankful for our PRHS Administration. Thank you Dr. Tobin Walcott, Brent Brickzin, Daniel Chouinard, Emily Schaefer, Michal Durik, Lana Costello, Dr. Belynda Williams, Charlie Brown, Kathy Diaz, and Robin Smith. Thank you for all of your help and support with the Marching Pride!
