This Friday, band students will wear their full marching band uniform and auxiliary will wear their pregame uniform! Underneath their uniform, all band students will wear this year’s green Marching Pride shirt, this year’s black marching band shorts, tall black crew socks, and marching band shoes. Auxiliary students will wear their pregame top, pregame leggings, tights, black auxiliary shoes, earrings, and full hair and makeup. Auxiliary students will not wear their show uniforms this week. All students are expected to travel together to and from Gulf Coast HS via school bus. The game starts at 7:00pm and tickets are available on gofan.co. Please be prepared to pick-up your student around 10:30pm. Students will text and call their rides when they leave GCHS and then again when we are close to approaching PRHS.

Students who do not attend will have to complete a make-up assignment in order to perform at the Lehigh Competition. If this make-up assignment is not completed with a passing grade, students will be suspended from the Home Game Performance on 10/7 and the Lehigh Competition on 10/8.

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser (Due Fri. 9/30): Our Band Boosters are holding their annual Krispy Kreme Fundraiser! Students have the option to sell boxes of donuts and/or digital coupons. Boxes and digital coupons are $12 each. Students who are going to Texas will have the opportunity to earn $5 towards their trip for every box/digital coupon sold. This is also a general fundraiser for our program, so we’re asking all students to participate. Students who are not going to Texas will help raise money for marching band season expenses. There are separate instructions on how to sell digital coupons online and then there is a separate order form for those who wish to sell boxes of donuts. Marching Pride Sponsors: We are reaching out to local businesses and contributors to the arts to help fund our program.
