Weekly Update

Our Rhythm of the Pride Recital in the gym on Tuesday at 6:30pm. Admission is $5. Doors open at 6:00pm.
 
This week is Empathy Week. SGA and NHS are collecting Women’s Shelter Donations this week. Donations can be brought to Mr. Rodriguez in Building 4. Each day has a theme for donations. Please consider helping those in need.

• Monday - Children’s Day (children’s clothes, diapers, baby formula, car seats, baby bottles, toys)
• Tuesday -  The “Bear” Necessities (hygiene essentials: toothbrushes, soap, shampoo)
• Wednesday – Comfy Wednesday (blankets, slippers, stuffed animals, books, coffee/tea)
• Thursday – Turn the Tide Thursday (sanitary products, hairbrushes, towels)
• Friday – Foodie Friday (canned food, non-perishable food)

 
This week’s Marching Pride Student Recognition goes to our students who took the time to participate in last week’s Student Advisory Meetings. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and ideas!

• Wind Ensemble Rehearsal, 2:15-3:30pm
• Rhythm of the Pride Recital, 6:30pm (Call time for students is 5:30pm)

Wednesday (4/17)

• Tri-M Meeting, 11:50am
• 8th Grade Auxiliary Visit at CPMS, 2:30pm (select students)
• 8th Grade Band Visit at CPMS, 2:45pm (select students)

Thursday (4/18)

• Corkscrew Elementary Pep Rally Performance, Call 1:00pm (select students)

Friday (4/19)

• Sabal Palm Elementary Pep Rally Performance, Call 1:00pm (select students)

 
Rhythm of the Pride Dress Rehearsal (Mon. 4/15): Dress rehearsal for auxiliary and percussion will be on Monday from 2:30-4:30pm in the gym. Auxiliary students will need to have all their attire for the recital. Percussion students do not have their performance attire for rehearsal. Percussion attire for the recital is all black: black shirt, black pants (no shorts), and black shoes (no crocs or sandals).

Rhythm of the Pride Recital (Tues. 4/16): Our Auxiliary Team and Percussion will have their end of the year recital on Tuesday, April 17th. Admission is $5. Tickets will be sold at the door. Doors will open at 6:00pm and performances will start at 6:30pm. If you pre-ordered a bouquet of flowers, these will be available for pick-up in the gym lobby. Limited floral bouquets will be sold at the door for $18

2024-2025 Marching Pride Band Student Registration: If you missed last week’s meeting for the 2024-2025 Marching Pride season, information is posted on the band website under the Students tab. Band students can still complete their online registration at: https://forms.gle/NMkgXPG7SNc5NfVDA. Auxiliary students will complete their registration with the auxiliary audition link provided below

2024-2025 Marching Pride Percussion Auditions: Percussion Placement Auditions for the 2024-2025 season are next week Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm in the band room. All students should complete the online registration with the provided QR code prior to auditions. Please bring a pair of sticks, a practice pad, a pencil, earplugs, and wear gym shoes
 
RaiseRight Fundraiser: We gained a few more participants this week and raised over $150 in just one week! Don’t forget that the Band Boosters are holding a competition until April 28th! The Band Boosters will give out 3 Amazon gift cards to the 3 families that have the most gift card purchases from April 7th through April 28th. First place will win $75, second $50, and third $25
