Weekly Update

Thank you to all our parent volunteers who worked the stroller rental tent at the Collier County Fair this year! We’d like to especially thank Mr. Anthony Rowtie and Mrs. Sandra Llorca for organizing the fundraiser for our Band Boosters. This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year! Thank you all who helped to make it successful!
 
Good luck to our Auxiliary Team, they have their State Auxiliary MPA this Tuesday at Palmetto Ridge High School.

Marching Pride Student Advisory Committee: Thank you to all our students who signed up to participate in our Student Advisory Committee. We will begin our small group discussions with Mrs. Robinson on Monday, April 1st. The schedule is posted in the band room. If you forgot to sign up for a meeting, please see Mrs. Robinson at your earliest convenience.
 
State Auxiliary MPA (Tues. 4/2): Our auxiliary students will have their State Auxiliary MPA at Palmetto Ridge High School on Tuesday, April 2nd. The event will start at 8:00am in the gym and end around 5:00pm. The PRHS Auxiliary Team will perform from 2:30-5:00pm. Admission is free and open to the public, however PRHS students will not be allowed to watch the event unless they go during their assigned band class or after school.
 
State Auxiliary MPA Student Volunteers Needed (Tues. 4/2): We still need student volunteers to help with concessions during State Auxiliary MPA. If you’re available to work for any of the following timeslots, please contact Mrs. Robinson: 6:30am-12:00pm, 12:00-5:30pm.
 
2024-2025 Marching Pride Information Meeting (Mon. 4/8): Our 2024-2025 Marching Pride Information Meeting is on Monday, April 8th. This meeting is for new and returning members. We will discuss band fees, band camp dates, auditions dates, and due dates. Please spread the word and save the date. 2024-2025 Band Booster Board Volunteers Needed: Our Band Boosters are looking for next year’s new Board Members. If you’re interested in being more involved with our parent organization, please contact Ms. Eileen Fuentes at [email protected] or Mrs. Sandra Llorca at [email protected].
