Naples Christmas Parade Times: Call time will be 3:30pm, the parade starts at 6:00pm and students will return to PRHS around 9:30pm.

Parade Attire: The band will wear their full marching band uniform with green band t-shirts and gray marching shorts underneath. Students are welcome to decorate their instruments and wear Santa hats or any other kind of holiday hat. Auxiliary students will wear their pre-game uniform with their warm-up jacket, pants, tights, earrings, and tan shoes. Students who do not wish to wear a Santa/holiday hat will wear their regular marching band hat.

Healthy Snack Meals: Healthy snack will be given at 3:00pm. Students who do not purchase a healthy snack meal will be required to bring their own dinner.

Parade Location: The parade starts on Broad Street and will travel north on Third St. South and then east on Fifth Ave. South to 8th Street. Please come out to watch the parade!

Winterfest 2017: The PRHS Music Department is holding their annual Winterfest performances on Thursday, December 14th and Friday, December 15th. Audience members will enjoy performances by the PRHS concert bands, jazz bands, percussion ensembles, orchestras, choirs, various auxiliary groups, and the Marching Pride! Concerts will start at 6:30pm.

Admission & Seating: There is an admission charge of $5.00 for this event. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time through Mrs. Robinson or Mrs. Pardee during lunch, after school or from our Band Boosters at the ticket booth upon arrival. Ticket sales will start on Monday, December 11th. Everyone is encouraged to purchase his or her tickets ahead of time. It’s general admission, which means that seating is first come, first serve. Doors will open at 5:45pm and the concerts will start at 6:30pm in the auditorium.

Attire: Auxiliary students will decide their attire within their groups. Auxiliary attire will have to be approved by Mrs. Robinson and the Auxiliary Staff. Returning band members will wear their concert attire uniform. It is strongly recommended that new band students purchase their concert attire for WinterFest to avoid having to purchase additional clothing; however, new band students are not required to have the concert band attire for WinterFest. They are required to have their concert band attire by late February for Concert Band MPA. New band students who choose to not wear their concert attire for WinterFest need to contact Mrs. Robinson for information on what to wear.

More information on concert band attire:
  • The uniform is the same as last year’s and returning members shouldn’t have to make another purchase unless their uniform has been misplaced or if it no longer fits. Students who are in choir or orchestra also do not have to purchase another uniform as both are very similar if not the same.
  • In addition to the specified concert band attire, students will wear black dress shoes. There is no specified black dress shoe other than it needs to be a formal shoe that is all black. Gentlemen may wear their marching band shoes with their concert band uniform; otherwise, an all black dress shoe is required. Ladies are also required to wear an all black dress shoe. Shoes may be open toe if you prefer. If you are purchasing heals, please purchase a shoe with a modest heal. Black dress shoes do not include: flip flops, sandals, gym shoes, tennis shoes, Toms, etc.
