Winds & Percussion: This year’s green band t-shirt or the 2017 PRHS Football Playoff t-shirt, blue jeans or black pants and dark colored athletic shoes. Green or black band jackets are permitted. Students will not be wearing their full marching band uniform. (The band will not be performing on the field, only in the stands.)
Auxiliary: Auxiliary warm-up jacket and pants.
Parent Volunteers Needed for Wednesday and Friday:
All County Honor Band Auditions (Wednesday): If you’re able to volunteer your time as a room assistant for a few hours between 2:30-9:00pm, please email Ms. Sarmiento at email@example.com.
Cheesecake Pick-up (Thursday): If you’re able to help organize and distribute orders on Thursday from 12:00-3:00pm, please email Ms. Sarmiento at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Chaperones (Friday): Please email Mrs. Eileen Fuentes at email@example.com if you are interested in chaperoning.
Band Equipment/Truck Crew (Friday): Please email Mr. Wilfredo Figueroa at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in helping.
Cheesecake Pick-up: Cheesecake orders will be ready for pick-up on Thursday, November 9th from 1:00-3:00pm. Please remind your student to pick up their orders after school!
Healthy Snack: Students who are interested in purchasing a healthy snack meal must place their order by this Tuesday, November 7th. These healthy snack meals were not included in the order purchased in August. Meals are $5.00 and include a 6-inch sub, chips, cookie and water. Choices are turkey, ham, BMT, or veggie.
Band Booster Meeting: The Band Boosters are having their November meeting on Monday, November 6th at 7:00pm in the band room. All parents are invited to attend!
All County Honor Band Auditions: PRHS will host the All County Honor Band Auditions on Wednesday, November 8th. Students who are auditioning can find their audition times posted in the band room. Parent volunteers will be needed for this event, which will be from 2:30-9:00pm. Universal Studios Orlando Band Trip:The trip meeting has been postponed to Thursday, November 16th at 6:30pm. All students attending the trip must attend with their parents. We apologize for rescheduling.
Alexander Magdaleno Wedding!: Ms. Alexander is getting married this Saturday! Please join me in extending her and her husband to be congratulations and best wishes!
Third St. South: The Jazz Bands will be performing at Third St. South on Monday, November 20th. We will need parent volunteers to help transport the small green trailer and we could also use a couple of parent chaperones. The Band Trip to Universal Studios is on Saturday, December 9th.
The Naples Christmas Parade has been moved to Tuesday, December 12th.
2017 PRHS Winterfest Concerts are on Thursday, December 14th and Friday, December 15th. This performance is for all concert bands, jazz bands, auxiliary, percussion, orchestra, choir, and the Marching Pride. There is an admission of $5.00.
