Common Concerns about Physicals

  • Physicals are good for a year. If you had one last year, bring the copy to the Kick-Off Meeting.
  • If your physical expires during band camp, you will have to turn in an updated copy.
  • If you can't complete your physical prior to band camp, please notify Mrs. Robinson via email.
  • If you are in a fall sport, turn in your physical through the Activities Office and notify Mrs. Robinson via email.

Kick Off Meeting

What is the Kick-Off Meeting? Parents and students will receive information on what to expect for band camp and the marching band season. All required forms will be turned in at this meeting. Band students will receive their marching band shirts and shorts and auxiliary students will receive their band shirt, tights, earrings, and flag bags. Students will also have the opportunity to see their band locker and order shoes, home game meals, band swag, and other items.

Saturday, July 23rd in the auditorium
  • New Band Students (12:00pm)
  • Returning Band Students (2:00pm)
  • All Auxiliary Students (3:00pm)

What if I have one band student who is returning and another band student who is new? Families who have both returning band members and new band members should attend either one of the band meetings as a family. If you have one student who is in auxiliary and another who is in band, you will have to attend both meetings as the information for auxiliary and band is slightly different.

What if I can't make the Kick-Off Meeting? Student and parents will have to stay after the first rehearsal day of band camp for a make-up meeting. At this make-up meeting we will go over band camp and marching band season information. All required forms will be turned in at this make-up meeting. Band students will receive their marching band shirts and shorts and auxiliary students will receive their band shirt, tights, earrings, and flag bags. Students will also have the opportunity to order shoes and home game meals. This meeting will start at 5:00pm on Monday, July 25th.
