New Students: New students who are receiving this email are now registered for our weekly updates. This means that we have received your Yellow New Member Registration Form. This weekly update is sent every Sunday and will include reminders for all of our upcoming events.
Krispy Kreme Fundraiser: Our Band Boosters are holding a Krispy Kreme Fundraiser this week. This fundraiser is to help raise money for our end of the year Band Banquet. All students are expected to sell at least one box! Students who did not participate in the Yankee Candle Fundraiser are expected to sell at least two boxes and Wind Ensemble students are asked to sell at least 3 boxes to help cover the cost for their charter buses to State MPA. Orders are due on Friday, April 13th. This is not a trip fundraiser.
Wind Ensemble After School Rehearsals: Wind Ensemble will continue after school rehearsals on Tuesday, April 10th. After school rehearsals will be on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:45pm.
Band Booster Meeting: Our Band Boosters will be holding their April meeting on Wednesday, April 11th at 7:00pm in the Band Room. All parents are encouraged to attend. New board members for 2018-2019 will be nominated and introduced at this meeting.
Band Playing Tests: All wind players grades 9-11 will be taking a playing test on April 16-19. These tests will be given during class, lunch and after school. Students are required to sign up for an audition time by Wednesday, April 11th. Students who do not sign up for an audition time will be assigned an audition time.
2018-2019 Band Camp Dates: Band Camp 2018 will be Monday, July 30th through August 3rd 8:00am-4:00pm and Monday, August 6th and Tuesday, August 7th 8:00am-4:00pm and Wednesday, August 8th through August 10th 1:00-8:30pm. Please save the dates!
Flag Workshops: We will be holding free Flag Workshops to all students interested in auditioning for the Auxiliary Team. These workshops will be held on May 1 & 3 from 5:00-6:30pm. Please email Mrs. Robinson for more information.

2018-2019 Percussion Auditions will be hosted at PRHS on April 17th from 4:30-6:00pm, April 18th 5:00-7:00pm and April 19th 5:00-7:00pm. 2018-2019 Incoming Freshmen Wind Auditions will be hosted at PRHS on April 18th 4:00-6:00pm and April 19th 4:00-6:00pm. These auditions are not required. Incoming freshmen that play a wind instrument may choose to audition into a higher-level band by scheduling a band placement audition. Incoming freshmen who do not audition will automatically be placed into Symphonic Band. To schedule an audition, please email Mrs. Annabelle Robinson at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Cookie Dough Trip Fundraiser (Monday 4/16 through Friday 4/27): Our first trip fundraiser will start on Monday, April 16th. We will be selling cookie dough. More information will be provided when it’s available.
