The Dancing Cubs fundraiser was very successful! Thank you to everyone who helped out. We have our last Pep Band game this week along with District Solo & Ensemble MPA, District Auxiliary MPA, and the first competition of the season for the Competitive Dance Team! Don’t forget to go to Chipotle tomorrow evening between 5:00-9:00pm for the Auxiliary fundraiser!

Basketball Pep Band: The Pep Band will have their last game performance this week. Call time is 5:30pm in the percussion room. Students must wear this year’s Pep Band t-shirt.
District Solo & Ensemble MPA: District Solo & Ensemble MPA will be held at LeHigh Sr. High School on either Friday, February 2nd or Saturday, February 3rd. All students are required to provide their own transportation to and from LeHigh Sr. High School. All woodwind and brass students are also responsible for transporting their own instruments. Please see the schedule posted in the band room.
District Auxiliary MPA: District Auxiliary MPA will be held at LeHigh Sr. High School on Saturday, February 3rd from 8:00-11:30am. All auxiliary students will travel to and from LeHigh Sr. via school bus. Parents and friends are welcome to watch the performances in the gymnasium at LeHigh Senior High School. There is no admission charge.

Reminders for all band students:
Please check the band calendar for upcoming after school practices. Some rehearsals have been removed from the schedule.
Concert attire should be ordered at this point. All band students must have the required concert band attire by February 1st. Concert attire information can be found at http://www.prhsbands.org/forms--handouts.html. Students who do not have the proper attire will not be allowed to perform with their band on stage.
All band students are expected to bring their instruments to class/rehearsal in good working order.Students who do not have a working instrument in class will lose daily participation points. Please take care of your instruments and remember to bring them to class!
Reminders for all auxiliary students:
Auxiliary students are expected to “dress-out” every day in class. “Dressing out” is part of each student’s daily participation grade. Students who do not dress out in class will be put on probation from upcoming performances.
All auxiliary students are required to perform a solo in class by February 1st.This activity will count as a performance test grade. Students who perform their solos at MPA will qualify to audition for an officer position in the 2018-2019 school year.
Chipotle Auxiliary Fundraiser (Monday 1/29): Come out to support the Auxiliary Team at Chipotle at Mercato on Monday, January 29th. If you present the attached flyer with your purchase from 5:00-9:00pm, 50% of your bill will go to the PRHS Band Boosters to help our Auxiliary Team!
Students and parents, please save your receipts and turn them in to Mrs. Robinson on Tuesday to enter a drawing for a prize!
Students will receive extra credit for tweeting out a picture of at receipt at Chipotle to help publicize the event! Be sure to tag @PRHSBands and @PRHSAuxiliary
