We have a big week with the Naples Christmas Parade on Tuesday and WinterFest performances on Thursday and Friday! Please see below for more information.
This Week’s Schedule:
WinterFest Dress Rehearsals: WinterFest Dress Rehearsals are this week Monday and Wednesday from 2:15-5:00pm. All band and auxiliary students are required to be at these dress rehearsals. The only students expected to dress for these dress rehearsals are auxiliary students.
Naples Christmas Parade (Tues. 12/11): Call time for all students is 3:00pm. Band students will wear this year’s green band t-shirt and shorts underneath their marching band uniform. Auxiliary students will wear their pregame uniform and auxiliary jacket. The parade starts at 6:00pm on the corner of Broad Ave. S. and 3rd St. S., turns right on to 3rd St. S. to 5th Ave. S. turning right on 5th Ave. S. Please come out to support the Marching Pride.
Healthy Snack (Tues. 12/11): The Band Boosters are offering Healthy Snack for Tuesday’s parade. Meals are $5.00. Orders and payments are due by tomorrow. Healthy Snack will be given to students who ordered at 3:30pm. Students can eat on the bus to the parade.
WinterFest Performances & Tickets: Call time for all students is 5:30pm. Band students will wear their concert band attire and auxiliary students will wear their chosen performance attire. Tickets will be available for purchase before school, during lunch and after school this week through Mrs. Robinson, Mr. Bigler, and Mrs. Wilson. Tickets will also be available at the auditorium lobby at 5:30pm on Thursday and Friday evening. Tickets are $5.00 and seating is first come first serve. This is a very popular concert. All spectators are encouraged to arrive early.
Parent Volunteers Needed For WinterFest: We are looking for 3-4 parent volunteers to supervise students during the WinterFest performances and 2 parent volunteers to help sell WinterFest tickets. Parents are needed on Thursday and Friday from 5:30-8:30pm. All parent volunteers will receive a complimentary ticket for their help. Please email Mrs. Robinson if you’re able to help at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Solo & Ensemble/Auxiliary Solo Sign-up: All students interested in participating in District Solo & Ensemble are required to register by Friday, December 14th. Registration forms will be available in the band room.
2019 Pep Band Sign-up: All students interested in participating in the 2019 Pep Band are required to register and pay for their shirts by Friday, December 14th. Registration forms will be available in the band room. All six games are posted on the band calendar during the month of January.
